Reflections and highlights

To all my students please look more closely at what you see and learn

Back to the Future

While going through my Archive I also found this early vellum sketch of a monaro showing some beautiful highlights and reflections......timing was Erie same day I met Phil Zmood,Ian Wong and the proud owner of a very polished sebring orange HT GTS Monaro
outside RMITs building 2 where all three of us studied industrial design again look at the highlights.

Archive Sketches

something I dug out of my Archive that I did in 1979.Same as what I have asked the students to do.... when designing a new concept steering wheel for a concept car over 30 years ago as a young designer at Holden I thought I would look more into the future. The sketches were done on vincent vellum with markers, prismacolour pencils and pastels

Vehicle directional controls

Hi All, our steering wheel concepts have evolved to the point they can no longer be called "wheels" here are some of what Ryan has done again only using sketchbook on the Cintiq.

New DSLR camera concepts

Again after completing the camera tutorial to a high standard I asked my first year RMIT coms students to sketch their own design concepts for a DSLR camera the first image is Richard bensons camera tutorial where they learned to show simple forms, cylinders and lens reflections as well as make design their own brushes for the lense grip. Then they were able to explore their own design sketches.
